Welcome to the United States (U.S.) Department of the Navy's Atlantic Fleet Training and Testing Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)/Overseas Environmental Impact Statement (OEIS) website, an online resource for information concerning the Atlantic Fleet Training and Testing (AFTT) Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)/Overseas EIS (OEIS).

The U.S. Navy is preparing this EIS/OEIS to assess the potential environmental effects associated with military readiness training and research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) activities (hereafter referred to as “training and testing” activities) conducted within the Atlantic Fleet Training and Testing study area. The AFTT study area includes the western North Atlantic Ocean along the east coast of North America, the lower Chesapeake Bay, and the Gulf of Mexico. Also included are select Navy pierside locations and channels.
